PORTFOLIO

STEVE NEEDHAM

Before pursuing tattooing, I worked across multiple creative mediums, including airbrushed motorcycle tanks, custom artwork for personal spaces, and mixed media using watercolor, coffee saturation, and pencil. Each medium taught me patience, control, and respect for how art develops over time.

This portfolio reflects my progression as an artist — from freehand exploration to more structured, intentional designs as I sought out techniques and fundamentals I wasn’t originally taught. Once I committed to tattooing, I made it a priority to learn the right way, studying the craft with purpose and discipline.

I’m drawn to tattooing not just for the art, but for the culture of learning behind it. I’m eager to learn from experienced artists, refine my skills, and continue growing both creatively and professionally as I work toward earning my place in a shop.

I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember, always learning and pushing myself to improve. As someone who wears many tattoos, I’ve always respected the art and the responsibility behind it, and tattooing has long been something I knew I wanted to pursue.

Today, I’m intentionally studying the industry and its foundations to learn the craft the right way. This portfolio will continue to grow as I learn from experienced artists through mentorship, collaboration, and hands-on guidance. My goal is simple: keep learning, keep refining, and earn my place through dedication, skill, and respect for the craft.
